how do you create a stunning photo shoot in photoshop

To create a stunning studio photo shoot look like the shot on the left, I have organised a few simple tricks and tips that will help you on your way to a great shoot.

your check list
  1. The first thing you need is a good quality camera a minimum of 8 maga pixals,
  2. Secondly you need a location or suitable place for taking shots, a large empty room is ideal.
  3. Some lights or lamps is recommended for creating good lighting effects, withing the shot.
  4. A blue or white background is needed for lighting conditions and this is also easier when the editing process takes place.
  5. last but not least you need a volenteer.
setting up

taking the shot

when taking the shot, be experimental, and try, lots of angles, or different poses. and face expressions, (this depends on y
our type of shoot)

editing your shot.

After you have taken your shots, save them to a pc in the highest quality.
The next few steps I am going to explain how to develop the shot into photo shoot image.
  1. open your image in photoshop,
  2. save the file anything you whish.
  3. duplicate the layer that it is currently on. so you have two of the same.
  4. turn off the visibillity of the first layer.
  5. now you should have one layer open, with this select the marquee tool and gentley cut your image out until complete.
  6. once complete make sure marching ants are still selected, if not go select reselect. if the marching ants are still marching, then go to select feather, and apply about 6px in the box.
  7. by doing this little trick it will add a very nice featherd edge around your image of 6px or whatever gap you decide on.
  8. after you added feathering, select the move tool, this tool enables you to move any selected property on its layer, so move the selected cut out image onto a brand new document.
  9. now with your cut out you can start to add effects,
  10. to get the photoshoot effect, it is a very simple process, I started by warming up the face as this is the main feature in the shot,
  11. to do this click on image ajustments hue satuaration, and play about with levels.
  12. Next you want add a very soft shadow in the background, behind the body. to do this i created a duplicate of the body, and changed the brightness and contrast, and lowerd the opacity to about 35 %.
  13. once you have done that your image is almost complete, to finish off I flattened the image added a warming filter ontop of the final shoot.
hope this helps.

drag and drop learning interactions in flash

 on(press) {

on(release) {
if (this._droptarget == "hello") {
_root.answer1 = "wrong";

//here we have a simple interaction where the user selects an answer from a list, and then drags
// the resault over the one he/she thinks matchs. if correct resault matchs then it will = "hello" if not
//it will = "wrong"

Life with Touch

Life with touch, is getting more advanced as the years go on, Apple Mac were the first to introduce this feature, bringing a whole new aesthetic form and inspiration to the whole world.

The Ipod and iPhone are today's biggest touch features that are both user friendly and the usability appeals to all.

touch screen continues not just with Ipods and phones but with graphic tablets, The Mac tablet, enables users to to not only draw on a tablet, but still use it as a touch screen interface,

This design is the future,
the aesthetics and overall ergonomics in this design so advanced that it scares me to say " what will touch screen be like next year, or even

Technology is moving so rapidly that it's true to say, that the above image, was out of date the minute it was released on the shelf,

The innovation of technology, and the future of interactive media can never be stopped, only developed.

All we can do is enjoy the media and explore it's uses while we are present.

aethetic visual communication that I like.

This modern day website, has been aethetically designed to sell apple products, The sites form is made of few colours, manley black/grey and white. White is a trust worthy clean colour being the main background as this is a colour that reflects on their company products such as the I phone and apple mac computer. They have made it clear for there main header "i MAC" by having a black heading in larger font size so this stands out to the viewer.
this site is made to look neat, clean and tidy, just like there products they are advertising, as it's main purpose is to sell.
They have enlarged there image to half the size of the screen size, they want their there users, to see there main product as soon as they enter the page. This will also be a communication of remembrance to the user. The title centred left of the graphic is clearly visible,,and has a black on white modern font, possibly Aral, This communicates that there typography is clearly visibility through out there website and there online products.
The navigation is designed horizontally, this is because their products have built in user interfaces which display horizontally. also the future of the web is becoming more like this now.

andy warhole

This design by andy warhole shows use of aethetic form and function, he has demostrated how colour can have have a high contrast in work. I personally like the use of the pink which reflects in the way he has used to highlight the eyes,
andy has used various techniques when producing this peice, he has shown his style of colour, in a way of bright patchy colours that compliment well when painted next to one another, he as used tones in areas where the light would not be visible, (shadows) this adds to the graphic by giving it more depth and making it look a little 3d.
the use of texture is also applied in the hair, we can see techniques of differnt tones and shadows in the hair, he has also used a methods called hatching in the direction in which her hair flows, this creates a natural look of real hair.
The visual communication here shows us Maloylns portrait which is now a iconic image to the world.
Andy has used
the Visual language behind the communication influences artists of today, and influences woman who She could make a girl feel better about her figure maybe...seeing as she wasn't stick thin by any means. I think also, maybe she does not influence the youth of today directly, but she does influence the press and magazines.
